February 2025 Tarot Card & Journal Prompts:

This month we will be revisiting our 2025 Year Ahead Reading to work with the Ten of Pentacles at our Second Thursday Tarot Reading Practice event.

The Ten of Pentacles combines the element of fire (creativity, warmth, passion, courage, ambition, etc.) with the numerology of ten (completion, transition, fulfillment, wholeness, community, etc).

How is the energy of the Ten of Pentacles moving through your life this month?

Here are some questions to assist you in exploring the energy of this card inspired by this version of the Ten of Pentacles we pulled from the Guardian of the Night Tarot. Feel free to use these as journal prompts or as tarot questions or both.

  1. What hive do you belong to? How do you contribute to its success?
  2. How are you balancing your own individual efforts with the needs of your community?
  3. What does true wealth look like through the eyes of nature?
  4. What stories live in your bones? How did they get there?
  5. How does your story align or differ with that of your ancestors?
  6. In what ways do the people in your life align or differ from you?
  7. If you discovered a time capsule you'd buried as a child, what would you hope to find inside?
  8. What lasting impact do you make through your daily actions?
  9. If you think of yourself as one of many, what does that change your perspective on legacy?
  10. What have your ancestors been trying to tell you?

This month's writing workshop:

Join us on Zoom for Last Sundays from 3pm to 5pm ET to write from the tarot together. No experience necessary. You need only a tarot deck and something to write with to participate.

New workshop! Asemic Art with the Tarot

I am really excited with how the first meeting of this event went last month! The art of Asemic Writing (or Asemic Art) presented something new to each person in attendance which led to a really cool discussion of process, intention, and intuition. A simple description of Asemic Art/Writing: an art form that appears to be writing but that has no semantic meaning. To see some examples, I recommend checking out the works of Cy Twombly and Renee Gladman. I hope you will decide to join us!

tarot & meditations

It’s tempting to hold back—especially when being seen has meant being misunderstood. But we aren’t meant to live as spectators. My work exists to invite people back into relationship with life: through meditation, tarot, art, and writing experiences that hold space for connection. Each offering is a small gesture toward re-entry. When we begin to show up, others do too. And that’s how it happens: we co-create something better, together.

Welcome back. This month, I’m reflecting on what happens when the tools we write with become part of the process itself. I’ve also got two tarot spreads to share—one on claiming ground, one on giving it—and we’ll be gathering later this week to read one of them together. 🌞 Guided Meditation on the Sun Card — Monday, July 7 at 8pm (ET) We'll be gathering tonight to meditate on The Sun tarot card. After this session, there are only two meditations left—Judgement and The World—and we’ll have...

Hello May! As last month's work with the Ace of Wands drew to a close with our tarot writing workshop, we noticed that seed of fire echoed in a powerful display of Major Arcana cards. If you're unfamiliar with the tarot or still finding your way into it, simply letting the names of these cards wash over you can help you begin to sense their energies. The Chariot, Death, The Hanged Man, and The Wheel of Fortune all made multiple appearances—echoing the change, tension, and uncertainty many of...

Hello April! As spring settles into Philadelphia, cherry blossoms bloom alongside charged conversations about community, justice, and what it means to belong. Across the city, the country, and the world, people are organizing, planting, protesting, gathering, and creating. There’s a collective sense that we’re being called to nurture something new—not only within ourselves, but in the structures and relationships that shape our daily lives. This month’s tarot spread speaks directly to that...
