Welcome back. This month we arrive at a closing. This coming Monday we gather for the final meditation in our 78-card series, ending with The World. It’s the last time we’ll sit together in this form, having traveled through every card in the deck. 🌞 Guided Meditation on the World Card — Monday, August 4 at 8pm (ET) This will be our only meditation this month. I’m still weighing whether it makes sense to continue Monday Meditations after this series is complete. One possibility is meeting twice a month for new moon and full moon meditations guided by tarot—or simply holding two tarot-led meditations each month. I’d love to hear your thoughts! For the rest of August, our guiding card is The Chariot. How might its themes of achievement, focus, and movement (or lack of movement) support you this month? This question will thread through this month’s tarot spread and each of our gatherings in art, reading, and writing. On the blog, I’ve revisited my very first blog post and added a reflection on what it means to “talk” with your tarot. How do the messages arrive? Images, textures, and spiritual downloads are some of what I discussed in my answer to this question. I'd love to hear your thoughts and experiences in the comments of this post. From the blog.

Upcoming Events. Around the web.Interestingly, Christiana Gaudet explored a topic this month that feels related to my Talking to Tarot blog post. I love synchronicities like this! Curious if you will see the connection. 🌞 Christiana Gaudet — Accidental Guidance/Allowing Intuition to Lead What do they say? It’s tempting to hold back—especially when being seen has meant being misunderstood. But we aren’t meant to live as spectators. My work exists to invite people back into relationship with life: through meditation, tarot, art, and writing experiences that hold space for connection. Each offering is a small gesture toward re-entry. When we begin to show up, others do too. And that’s how it happens: we co-create something better, together.
Hello November! That new collaborative project I told you about last month kicked off on October 23, 2025. Details about the next Amethyst Gate coming up this month on November 21, 2025 can be found at amethystgate.com. Our friend Elizabeth Kirwin did a write up on the first event that you can read at fairiesinamerica.com. I chose to write about the process that brought Amethyst Gate into being. Amethyst Gate is a new monthly literary series in Philadelphia that brings together poetry, music,...
Hello October! As the nights stretch longer, we are gently invited into a period of reflection. October asks us to notice both the shadow and light within ourselves—to take inventory of what we’ve inherited and what we’ve built for ourselves. During our year-ahead reading for the tenth house—linked with Capricorn and themes of status and purpose—we drew a card that centered less on achievement and more on contentment. Maybe this month’s work isn’t only about what we hold close, but what we...
Welcome back. This month, I’m reflecting on what happens when the tools we write with become part of the process itself. I’ve also got two tarot spreads to share—one on claiming ground, one on giving it—and we’ll be gathering later this week to read one of them together. 🌞 Guided Meditation on the Sun Card — Monday, July 7 at 8pm (ET) We'll be gathering tonight to meditate on The Sun tarot card. After this session, there are only two meditations left—Judgement and The World—and we’ll have...
