Hello! As March 2025 unfolds, we find ourselves in a time of swift decisions and bold actions. Governments are making sweeping policy changes, industries are shifting course, and movements are gaining momentum—all with a sense of urgency. Whether it's economic policies reshaping trade, restructuring within institutions, or global alliances being tested, we are witnessing choices made in the moment that will have lasting consequences. This kind of momentum raises questions about impact. The voices rallying in support of change are met with those urging caution, and beneath it all, the reality remains: every decision comes with a tradeoff. As we watch world events unfold, it’s worth asking—what parallels are you noticing in your own life? What changes are you making? Where are you shifting course? What in your life is gaining momentum? Are you acting quickly in response to pressure, conviction, or necessity? When we move with speed, are we being driven by clarity, or are we simply swept up in the current? And what of your impact--on your own future self or the world? Are your inner voices urging caution or cheering you forward? Is there something you're fighting for that demands urgency, or are you chasing something without fully considering the cost? March is a month of action, but it also invites reflection. How will you navigate the balance between the two? This month's Tarot Spread:This month we are working with the Knight of Swords tarot card, pulled from the Tarot in Pandemic and Revolution deck at our 2025 Year Ahead Reading. We will be working with the Consequences Tarot Spread--inspired by this Knight of Swords--at this month's Second Thursday Tarot Reading Practice. Join us at 8pm ET for help in reading this spread for yourself or try it on your own. And if you are not a tarot reader, feel free to use these questions as journal prompts. Consequences Tarot Spread: 1) What am I chasing? 2) What might it cost me? This month's Meditations:Join us as we continue to explore the Major Arcana through meditation. It’s tempting to hold back—especially when being seen has meant being misunderstood. But we aren’t meant to live as spectators. My work exists to invite people back into relationship with life: through meditation, tarot, art, and writing experiences that hold space for connection. Each offering is a small gesture toward re-entry. When we begin to show up, others do too. And that’s how it happens: we co-create something better, together.
Hello March! If you’re near Philadelphia this week, something special is happening this Friday, March 13, 2026. A project I’m involved in called Amethyst Gate is hosting a Literary Performance with open mic. I’d love for some of you to be there to participate from either the audience or the stage. You can register for free from Eventbrite. Below I’m sharing another excerpt from the latest post on the blog. It’s from the same piece I mentioned in the previous newsletter, though this passage is...
Hello February! You will notice our art workshop is no longer listed in the offerings below. This month’s Second Sundays Asemic Art Tarot Workshop has already passed, and for now I’m choosing to pause this series. The last few sessions have been small, and while they were meaningful for me, I don’t currently have the time or energy to keep scheduling them without rethinking the format more carefully. Rather than continuing by default, I want to make space to consider what would make this...
Hello 2026! This month I decided to bring my art and tarot knowledge together to create an exercise you might find useful. I ended up writing quite a bit about my own tarot reading practice, specifically about the difference between projective tarot reading and intuitive tarot reading. You may be surprised at how I use both and why. The full post turned into a writing exercise you can try for yourself with any tarot or oracle card. After the excerpt from this blog post below, you will find my...
